We have a multi-bedroom home with an available spacious, carpeted, unfurnished bedroom for rent. The room has lots of natural light, but is also fitted with 90% blackout curtains for those who prefer cave vibes. There is a shared bathroom upstairs with 2 sinks, so you can have your own space in there too. There is also a half bathroom downstairs for those times where everyone needs to go at the same time. Downstairs there is a large kitchen and common area with in an open layout. Outside we have a decent size yard that we will be working on adding cool aspects to. Our neighbors can see into the yard, but everyone in the neighborhood is super nice so far and respects privacy. Part of our yard work will include making the space a tad more private though. There is easy street parking and we have a driveway. We can discuss the best car placement in our interview process. The house is located in a nice, mostly-quiet neighborhood (kids play and dogs bark, such is life). There are many stores near by for easy access including Winco, Fred Meyer, 7-11 and more.

My name is Sage and I currently own this property with my partner, Maddie. We are both therapists getting started with our practices and will both be conducting sessions from the house, but we have offices for that and will post signs when we should not be interrupted. We both enjoy being social with others but have social batteries that will need to be recharged with alone time. We are a neurospicy home that stims a lot, so there will be random funny noises occurring, but we are also open to being told to hush as we are happy to discuss and respect any boundaries in our shared spaces. Maddie has chronic illnesses that sometimes limits them, but they still always try to be helpful however they can. Maddie has a witchy vibe and loves the color black, crystals, tarot and all things celestial. We are queer and we are here, so we accept all hoomans and won’t tolerate any form of discrimination in the home. We have 2 pets: a sweet rat named Drew who prefers to stay in her enclosure, and an iddy biddy maltipoo puppy named Gizmo who is full of sass and attitude but also love and playfulness. Gizmo takes a minute to warm to new people as he is protective of us and thinks he’s bigger than he is, but give him a treat and play with him and he’ll love you forever. My partner and I are a mix of homebodies and adventurers, leaning more on the homebody side. We enjoy watching TV, going on walks, chillin’ outside in the yard, playing games, arts and crafts, playing and listening to music, and making each other laugh as much as possible. If you ever want to adventure together or watch TV together, we’re down. We will see how we vibe! Overall, we are mostly chill, open-minded folks that thrive on open communication and respect. Ultimately we will have 4 people living in the home (possibly 5 if a couple takes this big room), 1 dog and 1 lil rat. We wish to be open and collaborative in discussions and agreements regarding house rules and expectations.
