THE APARTMENT: This second floor apartment has a great layout. There is a large kitchen for an apartment of this size with its own back door - big windows, hardwood floors, some outdoor space for growing a plant or two, and a shared backyard space. Easy parking around the block, exceptionally friendly and quiet neighbors (we have a group chat!), and responsive management. Centrally located - within walking distance of the Arboretum and several grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joe’s) and bus lines (G, 8, 11, 43, 48).

THE ROOM: The room is 8’ x 9’9” with two deep closets (one of which can accomodate a large dresser). A full-sized bed seems to fit best. The bedroom windows are large and east-facing (letting in amazing morning light) and cordless blinds and trees provide some privacy. The apartment has additional storage in the form of a linen closet, a hallway closet, and kitchen cabinets.

Your roommate will be L (she/her, 29 y/o), who works part time and is in school part time. L is kind, thoughtful, clean and likes to cook w a friend or two, play guitar, care for her plants, make art, and adventure outside. An ideal roommate would be available for monthly house meetings, contribute to keeping shared spaces clean, have a schedule that allows for quiet hours around 10pm, and enjoy some kitchen chit-chat and the occasional shared meal.
