Im Joe im 31 I have 2 kids that live out west that I go visit every couple months. Im a commercial roofing foreman I do work alot and when home stay in my room or in the garage i keep to myself. You would have access to the entire house and everything in it except for the garage the garage is not a shared space and is not open to use as storage.
