Furnished room with private full bathroom in Long Beach NY available August 1. You would be the 2nd & final person in a 3 bed, 2 full bath, 2-story house. This is a private room and private bathroom. The room is 12’ x 12’ with hardwood floors, twin bed and light furnishings, and a closet with both hanging & shelving capabilities. It’s on the 1st floor and has a window facing south. The bathroom is not en-suite - it has a walk-in shower (not a tub), tile floor and a window facing south. This is a very large home with 2 separate entrances. 16’ x 16’ living room, 12’ x 10’ kitchen, 14’ x 5’ dining room fills out your first floor. Patio with BBQ and seating for 6.

My space is upstairs. The second floor has 2 bedrooms (one being used as an office) and a full bathroom. The house is a 5-minute walk to the boardwalk, and 7 minutes to the LIRR platform. $1,900 / month rent plus utilities which include Verizon Gig internet, PSEG, Nat Grid & Ready Refresh Water Delivery. 2 beach passes will be provided. Home has a dishwasher & washer/dryer.

What I love about this home is that it is huge and quiet. With previous roommate, I don’t even know if they were home. Cannot overstate the size of this house. The location reminds me of living in Manhattan, where everything on Park. Ave is accessible by foot, yet you have the peace & quiet of the suburbs. Street parking only, which is never a problem. All are welcome in this home, but please, no smoking or vaping inside.

About the roomies

41-year-old male who has lived in Long Beach for 11 years. I work in sales for a food manufacturer, and I give guitar lessons in the evening (not at the house). I play beach volleyball 3 nights a week. This is definitely a quiet home, not a party home. Non smoker, no pets.
