About the roomies
Hello, my name is Isabel Roberts (she/her) and I will be subleasing a room in my apartment starting August 1st, 2026. I have lived in Durango since the winter of 2022 and moved here to work as a trails crew lead on the National Forest. I am double majoring in writing and fine art at FLC while working locally. I am looking for a roommate who is respectful, kind, and communicative about their needs. If it is the right fit, we can set ground rules from the get go and be able to adjust to meet both our needs for the space.
Currently the front room is serving as half art studio, half living room. There is limited room for furniture and there is no TV in the house. You may choose to put a TV in your room or we can discuss a placing a TV in a shared space. The cat, Momo, is an adorable insane child who I love very much and would expect a roommate to be caring and cognizant of. At this time, I am not comfortable renting the room to two individuals and am looking for only one renter. With adequate notice, friends and significant others are welcome with some ground rules both from the lease and as established between one another.
I am happy to share more about myself and answer any questions you may have.
