About the roomies
Hello! I’m a young professional female looking for a roommate. It’s a little bit of an unusual situation, but I am hoping to find someone to get a place with, together. Ideally I’d love to move into a single family house, but am open to apartments as they are more affordable. The pictures included are a prospective 3 bed 2.5 bath property in west Bothell that I’m looking at and need a roommate to sign a lease with. My ideal move-in date is June 20th or into early July. This place is available starting July 10th, but applications need to be in asap.
My absolute max budget is approximately $1,200/month including utilities. I’m open to lease terms ranging from 6 months to a year, depending on the situation.
A little about me: I recently relocated to Washington for some medical treatment. I’m quiet, respectful, and mostly a homebody. My medical schedule keeps me fairly busy, so I live a pretty low-key lifestyle. I enjoy DIY projects and crafting when I have the time. I don’t smoke, rarely drink, and don’t have overnight guests or host gatherings. And I am happy to provide references.
I have a 10-year-old black Labrador who is my ESA and will be moving with me. She is friendly, well-behaved, house-trained, and gets along well with other dogs. I’d actually love finding someone else who has a dog too so they could be play buddies and we can help each other out.
My preference would be to share with one or two other single roommates rather than a large group or couple, though I’m open to discussing the right situation. I have no gender preference regarding roommates and am LGBTQ+ friendly. I don’t personally care for 420, but it’s not a deal breaker as long as everyone is respectful and considerate. I’m looking for a clean, comfortable, and drama-free living environment with someone who communicates well and respects each other’s space. Due to my medical needs, a first floor room would be preferred.
If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you and see if we can find a home together. Please feel free to reach out with details and any questions.
