Martha's room
About the room
There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t require you to defend your choice of it. The location makes obvious sense malls and transit genuinely nearby, daily logistics simplified without drama. The room stands entirely on its own: private bathroom, independent from the household, no compromise on personal space. And the neighbourhood brings the intangible piece that unhurried, settled quality where streets feel like they belong to the people living on them rather than just passing through. All of it, genuinely.
About the roomies
Behind this front door you’ll find a quantity surveyor and a clinical geneticist who’ve made a comfortable life together here, each in their own room, each with enough space to fully decompress after work. The house stays clean and calm without it being a project that’s just the default we’ve both settled into. We’re not demanding housemates. Whoever joins us would ideally bring that same easy, tidy, considerate energy to the space.
