I have a furnished bedroom for rent for a non-smoker. My home has a split floor plan so you will have plenty of privacy and a bathroom to use. The bathroom is not a private bathroom. It is in the middle of the house (but just across the hall from the bedroom) so it is also for guests. It is a very private area as it is closed off to the rest of the house by a hall doorway. I do keep it decorated and clean but you will have exclusive and priority access to use it for showering, changing, etc. There are drawers and shelf space for your personal items to be put away daily. I work out of my home so I am usually here during the day. I prefer someone who works from 8-5 or 9-6 daily so that they are at work during the day most days. I will not accept a student or anyone who does shift work and night work. The bedroom is fully furnished with a queen bed and a small desk. It has a walk-in closet with shelves for storage and I have extra storage space in the attic if needed. I also have a nice backyard with a hot tub and gas grille for cooking on the deck. I furnish paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning soaps for bathroom/kitchen only, and share an occasional meal as I love to cook. You have to buy your own laundry detergent, zip locs, tin foil, etc. and of course, I have a washer and dryer in the Utility room and 2 refrigerators and a large freezer in the garage. You will need to have a car (no bus routes near) and can park in the driveway (not covered parking). I would like someone who can live by my rules which are not very many (simple: turn lights out and don’t leave candles on if you leave, or leave open food in your room, not a lot, basic stuff). Utilities are included in the rent and I have internet/wifi. You only have to keep your bedroom and keep the bathroom shower clean and clean up after yourself in the kitchen daily after you cook. I do have to meet you in person to rent my room in order for us both to feel comfortable and for you to see my home. If you are coming from out of town, I am sorry but I am not interested unless we can do a few Zoom meetings to talk. LOCATION: In SW Houston, 1 block from Beltway 8 on West Airport Blvd. very close to Pearland, Stafford, Missouri City and Sugar Land and (Free exit off Beltway 8) and easy access to SW Fwry and 15 minutes from Galleria or Pearland as it is straight freeway.
