About the roomies
We’re two laid back gals in our mid-late 20s who like to gab and indulge in the fiber arts (Morgan knits, Melissa embroiders). Note - a mutual interest in the fiber arts is not required, but a willingness to listen to us vent about our projects is a plus. : )
Melissa (29, she/her): Business professional working hybrid remote/office on weekdays 9-5 for a market research firm in Manhattan. In addition to embroidering, I enjoy talking about current events, politics, and media; watching movies, TV, documentaries, etc.; doing home projects; thrifting; and going to live shows.
Morgan (26, she/her): Artist currently working as a printshop studio apprentice and as a studio technician at an art college in Manhattan. I mostly work 9-5 with some shifts in the afternoons into the late evenings. In my spare time, I enjoy working on my art, knitting, trying new recipes, and watching spooky/sci-fi tv shows like Hannibal and X-Files.
If interested, please tell us about yourself (job, age, interests and hobbies etc.)!
