Norma's room
About the room
Picture this: malls and transit close enough that errands stop feeling like errands, and a room that’s entirely yours private bathroom, fully detached, no shared anything with the rest of the household. Now picture the part that’s harder to picture until you’re there: a neighbourhood that’s somehow stayed genuinely calm, residents who actually know each other, evenings that wind down properly. It’s the sort of combination that sounds too convenient to also be peaceful but it is.
About the roomies
This house is shared by a sonographer and a senior compliance officer, each occupying a separate room and largely getting on with their own thing. We’re not loud, not messy, and not particularly interested in turning the place into a social hub just somewhere clean and calm to come back to after work. We’d get along well with a housemate who shares that mindset and naturally keeps shared spaces tidy without needing reminders.
