You know how some places promise convenience and quiet but only really deliver one? This isn’t that. Malls and transit are genuinely a short walk away, no exaggeration needed. And yet the street keeps its own pace entirely slow mornings, friendly faces, that particular hush that settles in after dark. The room is completely separate from the rest of the house: own bathroom, own space, nothing shared. It’s the kind of setup that quietly outperforms expectations.

It’s a fairly low-key setup here a structural draughtsman and a senior dietetics consultant sharing the house, each with our own room and our own version of a quiet evening. Neither of us is loud, messy, or particularly social at home, and the place reflects that pretty consistently. We’re looking for someone who’d add to that atmosphere rather than disrupt it tidy, considerate, and genuinely happy with a calm place to live.
