2 Single Rooms in Oakland Available AUG and SEP 2026!!! ~$725/mo Looking for 2 roommates! (1 Female-identifying/AFAB, and 1 Male-identifying/AMAB!) Hi there! I’m a graduate student in the SLHS program at CSUEB and am looking for 2 housemates. (BOTH SINGLE ROOMS) About the listing: Two rooms located in a 4 bd/1.5 bath apartment unit within an Oakland Victorian style home will be available August 2026 (Room 3) and September (Room 2)! This is a yearly lease which ends every July and is of course renewable. The monthly rent for each of the rooms right now as of May 2026, is $700, with a 3% annual increase– so we’re looking around $725 ish starting August. Security deposits depend on the room and the current tenant. Street parking is available. Utilities (PG&E+Wifi) usually cost $75+ (or more) per month per person, but fluctuates depending on the usage. Water is free. We are located close to both the Grand Lake and Dimond districts, with easy access to the 580 Freeway, and AC Transit 57, 62, and 96 bus lines (1-2 minute walk to the 62 and 96!!). Equidistant to both Lake Merritt and Fruitvale BART Stations. The rooms are both the same size and fit a twin bed comfortably.

Who I’m looking for: Someone who is a young professional! Queer/LGBT identifying folks are more than welcome, as well as current and former students. This listing is also great for friend pairs (We’re looking for 2 more people to add on the lease after all)! Be courteous, hygienic, respectful of common spaces, responsible with household chores and open to communication. A huge plus if you want to build community. (Don’t be a stranger! Let’s get to know each other 😃) We split chores and have a few household items which are split between roommates monetarily. About the roomies

Here’s a little bit about me: I am a Socal native (born ’02) and a UC Berkeley alumni (C/O 2024 woo!!) who is currently studying at CSUEB. Some things I do in my spare time include cooking, going to the gym, window shopping, finding good restaurants, and (trying to) learn(ing) languages. I am pretty chill and generally don’t stay up too late but don’t mind a night owl as long as you keep it down. My other roommate is named Monica, a current UC Berkeley Law student originally from the East Coast!
