I’m looking for a roommate to join me in a lovely 2-bed, 1.5-bath apartment from August 1st 2026 to July 31st 2027! Total rent is $1955 (977.50 per person) including heat, garbage, and water.

The apartment is located right by the Museum of Science and Industry, one block from the lake and a 15 min walk bike ride from campus. It is also right by the Metra and 6 bus lines, making it very easy to get downtown.

All of the common area furniture will be in the apartment, and my roommate who is moving out is happy to sell or give bedroom furniture.

I (he/him) am a third year PhD student who has been living in the apartment for three years. I’m generally a pretty social person and enjoy cooking, playing soccer, biking, and hanging out at the lake. I’m ideally looking for a roommate who is friendly, kind, clean, and respectful of shared spaces.
