Soon to take over the lease here and looking for a roommate for the other Bedroom. I am a Single Empty nester so its just me. My adult children will stop by from time to time. I have no issue sharing the common room but claim dominance as I work from home 50/50 hybrid and it’ll be my home office. I am not about hello kitty and sparkly things. there’s a 24h analog clock on the wall. I care about what’s practical over what’s pretty.

Ideally what I am searching for in a roomie is an individual who is close in age. Brings little to no drama. I prefer low key so no parties. I want the person who has had to drop back and punt like me. you’re looking for a connection to make living cheap even though you make plenty. So that you can finally get caught up, breathe and maybe even relax and then back out into the world after a lease or 2 and banking that savings. I don’t expect friendship although it’ll probably happen over time anyway.

About the roomies

The current roomie is my one son. (no details given on purpose. its private) He will be moving out soon to help out his brother. I’m a Downsizing empty nester and the stars aligned lol and I am taking over his spot so he gets out early with no penalty
