Hey there! I’m in search for 3 roommates starting at the end of August. This doesn’t mean you have to have other people with you to put your hat in the ring, I just have 3 roommates moving out and need to find that many people to live here. Specifically looking for queer/queer friendly roommates. The apartment is across the street from EMU campus and everything is in walkable distance with a bus stop across the street.

Rent would be $500 per month per person. Utilities/internet are paid separately. Utilities include electric/heat, water, and a water heater bill. With rent and utilities it’s about $600 per month give or take.

There’s a washer and dryer in the apartment and a dishwasher as well. There’s a driveway for parking, but sometimes maintenance needs to use it, so you should buy a parking permit so you can park on the street. Driveway can only fit about 3 cars, but to fit 3 everyone needs to parked as far as possible up in the driveway. It’s an upstairs apartment, but it’s a duplex, so it’s not like an apartment complex. The downstairs apartment is currently vacant, so as of right now, it’s not super noisy. Idk if it will be vacant come August. But it’s been vacant for over a year.

I really prefer to have cleanly roommates. You don’t need to be a clean freak, but I’ve just had issues in the past with roommates not doing chores/dishes and not cleaning up after themselves. So I just want to prioritize people that don’t leave big messes everywhere and that are responsible to do dishes and chores.

I’m into art, music, video games, board games, dnd, binging tv shows, and enjoy a lot of nerdy/funny queer content. (Like dropout or smosh) I’m a relatively clean person, but I’m not a clean freak. I have ADHD. I’m 32 years old, non-binary (they/them) and queer.
