This is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in a fantastic location in Columbia Heights! 6-8 minute walk to Columbia Heights Metro, within minutes of multiple bus stops including D4X and D5X, and near multiple Capital Bike stations. Apartment is on the smaller side, but is two levels (bedrooms and bathroom are in basement) so it feels like more space than it is. Some of the common furniture will stay, but your room will be totally empty. Has recently updated appliances, including a dishwasher, new fridge, and in-unit laundry. Only bills are WiFi and electric (heating and AC are both electric). I’m looking for a 12-month roommate ASAP to move in on or after August 1st, 2026. Would like to sign the lease very soon.

I would be your only other roommate. I’m a 24 year old high school teacher, previously lived with another teacher so it would be great to have another but not necessary. I’m very serious and passionate about my job, but outside of work I love biking, reading, keeping the kitchen clean, and going to the museums in DC. My ideal roommate is also mid-twenties, no gender preference, someone who is passionate about their career but also willing to have some fun and relax on the weekends. I myself am gay so LGBTQ+ friendly is a necessity. I am traveling a bit during June and July, so I may not be able to meet you in person at the apartment, but I’m happy to send more pictures or meet over FaceTime!
