The space: Private bedroom (11×11), ensuite bath, your own front door entrance, and a private gated entry — all in a brand-new 3-story townhome in Spring Branch. Shared access to the 2-car garage and an open parking space outside your front door.

Who I’m looking for: Someone quiet, responsible, and a genuine animal lover. I have a Norwegian Forest Cat named Tony Montana. He’s sweet, social, and indoor-only. As part of this arrangement, I’m looking for a tenant who’d be willing to check in on him during my occasional work trips — litter and fresh water only. He has an automatic feeder and I’ll also be getting an automatic litter box, so the ask is about as low-maintenance as it gets. He’s just a sweetheart who’d rather be cuddling than be alone. It’s not a lease requirement, but it’s very much the spirit of the deal. Cat sitting is paid separately at $75/trip via Zelle or Venmo — easy extra cash for minimal effort.

To recap the perks: private space, floor, and entrance — easy extra money — and the full place to yourself (and Tony 🐱) more often than not.

Background check and references required. No smoking in the home. Shared responsibility for common area upkeep.

A few things worth knowing:

I’m the only other occupant — no other roommates, ever. And because I travel frequently for work, you’ll often have the place essentially to yourself. Worth noting: I’ll split utilities evenly every month regardless of whether I’m home or traveling.
