The two-story house is spacious at 3,500 sq feet, in a quiet neighborhood with a backyard that looks onto White Clay Creek Park, yet convenient as it’s located 10 minutes northeast of the University of Delaware campus and Main Street in Newark (Polly Drummond & Kirkwood Hwy) Features: -Internet: WiFi (Verizon FiOs highest speed) throughout with a booster on each floor -Climate Control: Multilevel HVAC, ceiling fans in all rooms for energy efficiency and temperature regulation -Water: City water using a tankless hot water heater – we never run out of hot water -Emergency Preparedness: Whole house generator for emergency power outages -Trash/Sewer: City sewer; private trash service -Parking: Street parking -Back Yard: Cement patio in back yard that backs up to White Clay Creek Park. There is a walking path across all of the backyards that takes you past an agricultural field and further into the park.

Housemate Space: The bedroom is on the 2nd floor, with western exposure. It shares a full bathroom with the other male roommate, whose room is on the other side of the bathroom. The room is bright and airy, 12x 12, with 9ft ceiling, two double-pane windows; closet, wall-to-wall carpeting, and a ceiling fan.

Shared space: The main floor is an open concept layout which has a great room with double sliding glass doors out to back yard, Formal dining room, Eat-in Kitchen & Laundry room. Back Yard: Cement patio in back yard, with grill and furniture.

We are two mid-career professionals, one female and one male, and one docile, elderly female cat who likes people but is unable to co-exist with other pets. We seek co-living for the social/community aspects, rather for financial reasons. We have a a drama-free, calm, sane, upscale, non-smoking environment.
