What’s included in the price: all utilities (unless you are planning to plug in an air conditioner, electric heater, or something similar), washer and dryer, dedicated living room (there are two) with TV and couch, private bedroom with its own bathroom, king-size bed (or any size you request), any other standard furniture needed.

Looking for a reliable, clean, working professional to rent a spacious private suite in a quiet 3-bed, 2.5-bath home. You will be sharing the house with a professional couple. We lead a structured, quiet life; we typically head out before 8:00 AM and return around the late afternoon (~4:00 pm) or evening.

Because our home features two distinct living room spaces, you will be assigned your own living room for your exclusive use–it is adjoined to the kitchen

You will have the spacious main bedroom with an attached private full bathroom. The space can be provided fully furnished or unfurnished at no extra cost (any size bed and other items as requested).

Full access to a clean, fully equipped kitchen. Free in-house laundry. Spacious off-street parking.

We have two young, clean cats and maintain a very tidy, well-kept home. We are open to a tenant who has a cat of their own, though we cannot accommodate dogs at this time.

All utilities included: heat, electricity, water, internet, and laundry are included in the rent–if you plan to plug in an air conditioner or electric heater (for a month or a season), we will ask you to contribute to the electricity bill. If you like gardening in the summer, you can be provided with space for a garden bed.

Ideal Tenant & Requirements: This arrangement is best suited for someone with a consistent, full-time, out-of-the-home professional schedule. We cannot accommodate fully-remote or full-time work-from-home arrangements (some hybrid exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis). We are looking for a tenant who values a peaceful, independent routine and keeps common areas tidy.

Requirements: Proof of steady local employment, at least one reference, and no smoking tobacco products.

We are two full time professionals working in education. We leave early in the morning and return later in the afternoon or evening. We are very clean and give whoever lives with us their space–we expect the same. We often–though not always–spend every other weekend away down in central Vermont.
