One bedroom for rent in a 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath house, with chill roommates and an excellent quality of life.

Your new home is located in Carlsbad Village; close enough to walk the beach daily. It’s far enough from the freeway to be invisible noise-wise, but close enough for a quick entry. Your new room has its own en suite bathroom; no shared bathroom facilities here! This bedroom has the largest individual space; more than big enough for a king-sized bed, desk, and dresser. The en suite bathroom comes equipped with a bathtub, storage, sink, and even a spot to plug in your hair dryer. Or dryers. I dunno; I’m bald. Do we still use hair dryers? One social dog on property, the landlord has requested no more pets.

Large kitchen and living areas on the 1st floor, all three bedrooms are located on the 2nd. There is a backyard with a small deck and medium sized lawn for sunshine (as long as you have appropriate scalp protection), grilling and games. Two-car garage attached, currently half is being used for extra office space and a home gym (nothing special, just dumbbells and a simple bench). New front load washer and a dryer. The house is close to shops and beaches - just a short 10 minute walk to the Village and Tamarack St. Beach.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the balcony attached to your room - it’s the only one on property! Covered, which is great for sun protection; my dermatologist said I need more shade so I don’t get any more sunspots on my scalp. What did she mean, any more?!?!

The utilities that we share are just SDGE and whatever cable provider we can get the best deal from. Typically anywhere from 60-80/month, not included in the rent.

Current roommates are working professionals. We work varied schedules - one, a WFH techie, the other is a restaurant manager. One large, senior-ish dog, friendly, also lives on property (Sorry, no more pets.) We’re happy to be social but don’t like to bring the party home. We are clean, organized, respectful, of the space and each other. Drama-free, tidy household. Shared interests include, but not limited to - sports, video games, tech, and adventure.
