Room for rent/house share in a small Village called Washington, LA. (10 minutes North of Opelousas, and 35 minutes North of the most Northern tip of Lafayette, LA from the I-49 Hwy. The good things about the area, are the house is backed up to woods and there is an entire side yard (fairly large) for parking 1 or more of your vehicles safely on daily/nightly basis. Besides the Amenities detailed above you will have full kitchen privileges including the use of any kind of dish, pot, cutlery/other utensils, and glasses/cups, and of course any appliance including a toaster oven, stove, and microwave. I have 2 taller mini-fridges in the kitchen, so one will be yours including the entire freezer. (I might have to put a couple of things in your fridge on occasion, but it will be 80% for your use!:) Lastly, I have a washer and dryer available for your use inside of my kitchen, so that will make getting laundry done, more convenient for you!

I am an empty nester who is mostly vegetarian, animal lover with 2 pet cats (brother boys), and enjoy the beauty of this area, while doing my best to keep litter picked up on the road leading to the cul de sac where I reside. I enjoy dancing and exercising to house and trance music, and I also love reading non-fiction, and watching detective shows (both fictional and non-fictional).
