We have a large, fantastic apartment with two full bathrooms in HeII’s Kitchen/Midtown West on Tenth Avenue and 44th Street. It’s ample in the way of amenities: we have a full-sized kitchen (fully equipped, down to the dishwasher) and a living room large enough for very comfortable furniture and our pool table, a dart board and full bar (although that shouldn’t give off the impression we’re big party types; it’s just ideal for entertaining at the holidays, etc.) Great place to live and great folks to live with….

Like all NYC apartments, the available room isn’t enormous (about 100 square feet), but this one is furnished and big enough to accommodate a full-sized loft bed, a computer desk, an easy chair, a small closet, a dresser, a large shelving unit and plenty of storage space for clothes, books and other incidentals. There is also a 40“ flat screen TV, AC unit, WiFi and DVR. Towels and sheets/bedding are also provided if you like. In short, it’s the perfect set-up for somebody either new to The City or looking for a ready-to-go transitional place… but still wants to be comfortable. About the building and area, both are very safe and perfectly positioned in proximity to groceries, pharmacies, laundry, dry cleaners, post office, NYPD and fire department… as well as a brand new Target and Dunkin’ Donuts across the avenue and plenty of restaurants, movie theaters, shopping and other entertainment venues.

Although we’d obviously prefer something longer term, we could certainly accommodate a shorter-term situation, too (but it must be at least six months). So, if you’re interested, by all means drop a line and tell us about yourself – particularly what you do with your day (how you make a living and if you work from your place of employment, WFH or a hybrid of the two). And please bear in mind that, the more you tell us about yourself, the more likely you are to get a response. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible. (And also be aware that you will only be considered if you are fully vaccinated and are NOT a supporter of Donald Trump or anything MAGA-related. No exceptions.)

We’re extremely clean and respectful, mature professionals: a masculine gay couple in our 50s (a writer and a fashion designer executive). We also have a hairless cat (yes, hairless, so no allergies, but I’m afraid our maximum allowance of “one pet permitted” is already filled). Anyway, great place to live and great folks to live with….
