My father recently passed away, and my mom wants to stay in the house and rent an upstairs bedroom. Private bedroom and private bath. Share downstairs living area (kitchen, livingroom, diningroom). Laundry is in the basement. Electric, water, and internet included (house does not have cable). Rent is negotiable if willing to help with some house cleaning.

My mom is 88. She has some severe memory issues, but not alzhiemers or dimentia. She can’t get up and down stairs, but no other physical issues. She is mostly looking for a presence in the house, especially at night. She gets lonely in the day, but cannot drive to join any groups or visit people.

• she does have a small dog that mostly stays by her side the whole time.
