About the room
Large furnished middle bedroom available in a spacious 4 bed / 3 bath house near the Traffic Circle.
The room has been used as a spare office and guest room, so it comes furnished with a queen bed, large office desk, dresser, and closet. The north-facing window brings in great natural light.
The bathroom setup is very convenient. There is an adjacent full bathroom that is semi-shared, plus another shared bathroom available if needed. In practice, there is plenty of bathroom access and it never feels crowded.
The house has multiple fully furnished common areas, including multiple living rooms, a full kitchen, dishwasher, laundry room with washer/dryer, and high-speed internet. There is also a large backyard with grass, patio space, and a grill, which is great for relaxing or entertaining. The house has enough space that it really does feel like having your own home, not just renting a room.
Off-street parking is included and shared among the house. Utilities are typically around $100 to $200 per month, depending on usage, and can be discussed.
The location is walking distance to bars, gyms, Sprouts, Traffic Circle shops, and the CSULB off-campus bus/shuttle. It is also a convenient drive to the beach, Long Beach airport, Seal Beach, and nearby freeway access.
Lease would start as a 6-month lease, then move to month-to-month after that. Shorter terms are an option for an increased rate. No smoking inside the house. A lease and roommate agreement will be used so expectations are clear and everyone can enjoy easy, stress-free living. Pet agreement available if applicable.

About the roomies
Currently, there are two other engineers living in the house, plus myself and my dog Willy. I am mostly based in Santa Monica now and am usually at the house around two days per week. The other guys are in the office about three days per week and work from their rooms when working from home.
Everyone is active, social, tidy, and respectful. We have lived together for over a year without any issues and have a shared roommate agreement to keep expectations clear and common areas easy to maintain.
Ideal roommate is friendly, respectful, reasonably social, active, good with pets, and willing to help keep the house clean and comfortable.
