About the house:
We are a currently a 3 person household looking for a 4th roommate.
-The unfurnished room has two a bright corner windows with south and west exposures -decent sized closet
- 4 bed, 1 bath, 3rd floor apartment
- Apartment is has a lot of character, tin high ceilings, hardwood floors -New kitchen appliances
- Very responsive landlord and super.
- The room available fits a queen or full size bed
About the location:
- The best part! We are located steps off Franklin Ave in Crown Heights which is known for its restaurants and bars (Chavelas, Sliver Rice, Butter and Scotch, to name a few of our favorites).
- Walking distance from Prospect Park (farmer’s market every Saturday!), the BK library, the BK museum, and even more restaurants and bars. All in all, it’s been an awesome spot to live in.
- 3 min walk from Franklin Ave stop (2,3,4,5 trains); ~10 min walk/shuttle from A,C trains
- About ~30 minutes to get into Midtown
- 2 min walk from 24 hour laundry (drop-off available if that’s your thing!)
About us: We are all working professionals in our mid 30s and 40s with pretty busy schedules, LGBTQ friendly, opened minded, animal loving humans and would ask that you are the same. Also thing we aren’t considering people with pets at this time.
The basics:
- Looking for someone to move in JUNE 1st-Six month minimum commitment, with a possibility to stay on in the apartment as long as you like.
- Room available is $1350 a month includes all utilities. Maid service for common areas are $35 and we get them to come about every 6 weeks (additional $15 to have you room cleaned) -First month rent plus security deposit of one month in order to secure the room.
ABOUT YOU:
- You are a relaxed, friendly person.
- All genders and sexualities welcome. Having partners over is okay, but only if they don’t become a 5th roommate!
- Our biggest priority is to find someone who will do their part in maintaining a peaceful, fun, and easy-going shared living environment.
- Down to participate in our rotating cleaning in between house cleanings
- Already pretty proactive about cleaning up after themselves (wash dishes immediately after use, wipe down surfaces post-cooking; taking the garbage out, etc.).
- Open and honest communicator
- We don’t have much storage in the space and would like to keep it as clutter-free as possible, so would be looking for someone who doesn’t need to store furniture/bring additional items into the space outside of what is needed for your room.
About the roomies

Jamie: is a freelance hairstylist, surfer. Lives most of the time in Mexico when not in NYC to see her clients.
Aaron: Going back to school to work in non profit. Very sweet kind human being that makes a killer salsa.
Rodrigo: Friendly and very chill. works as a furniture designer and at a fancy wine bar. Also an incredible chef.
