3rd housemate is moving out, and I am looking for a replacement to move in by end of May/start of June. YES THE PHOTOS LOOK MESSY, they were taken in the middle of packing/organizing.

Room is upstairs, faces the street (North), and gets good indirect light. There is no flooring, just the large rug as seen in photos. Bed is a full-size that can slide out to be about Cal King size. Bathroom is shared, but rarely used by other people (see below).

You would have use of the common areas in the home (kitchen, sitting room, laundry room, etc.) WIFI included, as well as use of the furniture already in the room (bed, lamp, nightstand, desk chair, mini fridge, TV, bookshelf, drawers, and couch). Garage is currently being used for storage, but there is parking in front and street parking available.

We’re a pet friendly (there’s 3 cats in this house), bilingual, queer home in a quiet neighborhood located 35th ave and Greenway. Any religion (or lack of one) is cool, smoking is ok as long as it’s outside or a window is open (I myself, occasionally will smoke mj). Guests are fine, as long as they are respectful, quiet hours after 12am, cleaning duties can be shared for common areas.

I am slowly renovating/updating the house on a very tight budget, so you will occasionally hear power tools and hammering.

I am 30. In between jobs right now (I teach art), and pretty lowkey. Second housemate is 19 and a student. We’re both introverted, artsy people, who like cooking, anime, and thrifting.

My mom has a room in the house upstairs (next to this one) which she stays in on occasion, but not regularly (she is deaf, so bonus points if you speak ASL and/or MSL), so she’s the only other person you would be sharing the bathroom with (well, alongside the cats, there is a litterbox in there).

The cats are Queso (neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and VERY skittish. Extremely friendly, though, once he trusts you), Boda (spayed, vaccinated, chipped, also shy but playful), and Buzón (3 months, extremely energetic and playful).

We do not need to be friends, but everyone in the house is civil with each other, and we occasionally have meals together.
