Master suite plus private bathroom in upscale Vancouver neighborhood 1 block from the river and 1 mile from downtown. There is a coffee shop and 2 restaurants very close by. The property includes a community garden space, gym, hot tub and outdoor pool. It’s also within walking distance of Surprise Beach.

The room includes a bed, small bookcase, and dresser, but I could empty it if needed. There is a fully supplied kitchen and an outdoor patio. It is a 3 story townhouse with the bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd level. There is free parking on site. This property is in the flight landing zone of PDX, so you will hear airplanes regularly. It took me a few months to get used to it to sleep, but if you are a hard sleeper or use white noise, you’ll get over it quickly.

There will be no charge for utilities unless the electric bill goes above $120/m (it might in the summer with AC), and then you’d need to pay the overage. It has never been over $150/m for me alone. I have cable internet and usually subscribe to 2 streaming TV services at a time.

No smoking or heavy drinking or drugs. I work from home so it would be handy if either you didn’t, or were ok with working from your bedroom most of the time.

I do not like clutter or dishes in the sink. Please do not inquire if you do not pick up after yourself.

Rent is advertised as lower than market value because I’d like assistance with giving one of my 2 cats medicine (needs every 12 hours). I can usually handle it alone, but I’d like to be gone overnight approximately once a week and I enjoy sometimes spending weekends away and traveling for 1-3 weeks at a time a few times a year.

I’m a 54 year old woman who works in the tech industry. I like to spend time with friends, and at night before bed I like to watch tv while crafting. I also enjoy hiking, paddle boarding and traveling.

I’d love to host a member of the LGBTQIA family, this is a 100% safe space for trans and enby folks.

I haven’t hosted a roommate here, outside of friends staying with me for a few weeks, so I’m a little nervous about it. I’m a very quiet person and don’t do well with loud noises or interruptions of sleep. I am very sensitive to smells, so this needs to be a cologne/perfume-free space.

My cats are very friendly and will want to be buddies with you. Loki can be a troublemaker and sometimes howls and gets the zoomies, but he is a very friendly and cuddly cat in general. He is 6 years old. Freyja is a the sweetie that needs medication. She is only 5 years old but has some hip pain issues and so I usually medicate her in the morning and before bed (ie: 9am/9pm). She does well with pills mixed with churu. Both cats are fixed and are excellent in using the litter box. The patio is on the 2nd floor and has a cat door in the window to allow them to go back and forth in the good-weather months.
