Turn it into your music studio, office, or workout room, etc. Large bedroom downstairs with a walk in closet and window, carpeted. No other rooms downstairs so it is very private. Downstairs has a sliding glass door which opens up to the backyard, and laundry room + half bath are also downstairs across from the bedroom. Direct access through the sliding glass door or through the 2 car garage. The living room has a nice leather couch, leather recliner, large plasma TV, coffee table, but otherwise is ready to be decorated however you choose. Located in the sudden valley neighborhood but right across the street from a Bellingham bus stop getting you where you need to be. Easy access to the lake/WWU docks in less than a 3 minute walk. Many parks and trails in the neighborhood, basketball, tennis/pickleball courts, community center/clubhouse, sauna, gym, pools, library, local market & restaurants. Very quiet street with ample shade and part-sun, great neighbors. Looking for someone reliable who is quiet, pet-free & easy to get along with. Currently 3 people are living here (including myself the homeowner) but looking for just one person who would be willing to take over the downstairs. One roommate is moving out from downstairs by June 1st and another plans to move out from upstairs by September most likely. There is a queen bed and nice bed frame in the room which could stay for you, or be removed if you don’t need it. Utilities would be split. Shared spaces are the kitchen, upstairs bathroom/shower, and laundry room/chest freezer. Hoping to move someone in by July 1st but can be flexible this summer until we find the right fit!
I own the home and work as a horticulturist (plant nerd). I work long days in the summer at the greenhouse, and in the fall/winter I work from home. I am an outdoorsy/active type person and I enjoy music, sports, skiing, ping pong, gardening & hanging out with my cat on the couch. One roommate is moving out by June 1st and the other is hoping to move out by September. I like to do my own thing most of the time, but am happy to make communal dinners and hang out in the living spaces with roommates. I am mostly a homebody when not outside being active, and I work early so I do appreciate the house being quiet at normal hours. I work weeks and on the weekends I am a night owl. I like to keep the shared spaces nice and tidy so everyone can coexist without having to pick up after the last mess. I’m looking for someone who is reliable, communicates well, & is easy to cohabitate with. I would happy with either a roommate who wants to team up, or a roommate who prefers to do their own thing. Hoping to find someone who is looking to co-create a sanctuary and safe space to live.
