Private Room In A Shared Apartment

Seeking a female roommate to share a beautiful apartment in Watertown beginning July 1 or later. This is a really nice place, located on a quiet, tree-lined street, ideal for a quiet female roommate. The bedroom is spacious and sunny with four windows and a large walk-in closet and is available beginning July 1 or later. The room is available unfurnished however I can provide some bedroom furniture if needed. There is a lease however a short-term sublet can also be arranged.

The overall layout of the apartment is very spacious with a first floor consisting of a large living area, dining room, kitchen, two porches, yard and basement with laundry. The bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. The place has some interesting architectural detail with a working fireplace, high ceilings and French glass doors. I can provide additional photos and details once we speak.

The neighborhood is also really nice, close to stores, cafes, restaurants and the Charles river. It’s a 5 minute drive to the pike providing easy access to downtown Boston and the financial district. It’s a short walk to the Harvard Square bus, Central Sq and Waltham bus as well as the express bus to Boston.

The landlord takes great care of the property including the snow-plowing in winter and landscaping in the summer. Utilities are extra but reasonable, approximately $125 a month on average, higher in winter and lower in summer.

Seeking a female roommate only, either professionally employed or a student, who is respectful and considerate and values a peaceful, quiet environment. Must be a non-smoker and drug-free.

Although it’s an independent living situation, someone who is friendly and enjoys a fun and interesting conversation every now and again would be ideal.
