The F train, Roosevelt Island Tram, ferry, and local bus are all nearby, making it easy to get around. Midtown is very accessible by train, and the Upper East Side is just across the river.
The neighborhood has everyday essentials close by, including a supermarket, pharmacy, cafés, parks, waterfront walking paths, and restaurants. It’s a good fit for someone who values a quieter home environment but still wants to stay close to central Manhattan.
