About the roomies
Hi, I’m Ariana. I’m an elementary school art teacher who genuinely loves what I do, which means during the school year I often stay late at work unless we’ve made plans together. Teaching, creating, and educating are a huge part of my life, and during the summer I also teach out of my apartment as part of my side business — so reliable internet and a respectful shared space matter to me. I’m social and love going out — museums, art shows, neighborhood events, random adventures — and I value quiet recharge time. Some days I’ll blast music while cleaning or making art; other days I’ll have my AirPods in and be more introverted. I always give a heads-up and appreciate the same.
I have two cats (Luna & Luther) who love people but may take a little time to warm up, and a lot of plants. I love sci-fi and dystopian stories, Star Wars (the kitchen is themed), Harry Potter (the world, not the author), cinema as an art form, and sharing books — borrowing is always welcome.
I’m not just looking to fill a room. I’m intentionally looking for someone I genuinely get along with.
