About the room
A private, airy bedroom on the upper level of a well-kept tri-level home, approximately 135 sqft with a closet and great natural light. West-facing with a pleasant view of trees and the quiet cul-de-sac below. Queen bed can be provided, otherwise, unfurnished. Laminate hardwood floors throughout the home.
Shared spaces include a large upstairs full bathroom with ample counter and cabinet space for storage, shared with one other housemate. Fully equipped kitchen with air fryer, rice cooker, toaster oven, dishwasher, stainless cookware, plates and utensils, a shared fridge and stove, dedicated pantry space, and kitchen cabinet space for your items. The living room has a gas fireplace, couch, coffee table, and dining table. In-unit washer/dryer located in the downstairs bathroom. Outside, there’s a spacious deck and a beautifully maintained backyard. Ample parking on the driveway and cul-de-sac.
Maplewood Heights is one of Renton’s quietest and most desirable neighborhoods a peaceful, wooded area on a dead-end cul-de-sac with very little through traffic. Maplewood Park is directly across the street with a wooded trail system, outdoor pickleball courts, and a basketball court. Margaret’s Way and Poo Poo Point trailheads are within 20 minutes, and Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, Coal Creek Falls Trail, and Cedar River Trail are all within easy reach.

First month’s rent and a security deposit equal to one month’s rent are due at signing. Utilities are $100/mo flat rate, covering electricity, gas, water, sewer, and WiFi (not included in the rent). Renters are expected to keep their bedroom and bathroom clean and tidy at all times. Shared household responsibilities rotate on a weekly schedule and include taking out trash and recycling, bringing bins back in after curbside pickup, cleaning shared kitchen surfaces, wiping counters, stove, and microwave after use, sweeping the porch and entryway, and light common-area cleaning. During fall and winter, light driveway leaf blowing rotates monthly. A chore schedule is posted in the common area. Dishes must be washed after each use.
These are standard shared-living expectations, not extras just the basics of keeping a clean, comfortable home for everyone.
No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets. Parking available on the driveway and cul-de-sac.
