Room for Rent — Eastside Lakeland Trailer Park

Hi! I’m a 55-year-old woman who loves being a grandma, and I’m looking for a respectful female roommate. This would be a good fit for someone also in their “grandma era,” a quiet single woman, or a single mother who is looking for a peaceful place to live.

It is a small trailer, but I do my best to keep it clean, comfortable, and homey. I will be the only other person living here. My current roommates are moving out, so I’m looking for someone who can move in and pay June’s rent.

You would have the largest bedroom in the back of the trailer, which is the quietest room. The room also comes with a mini fridge. The full bathroom would mostly be yours. I do have a half bath, so I would only need to use the full bathroom for showers. There is also a very small third room that is used as a toy room for my grandkids.

• Quiet, simple, and family-friendly environment
• Spare room comes with a mini fridge
• Internet is available and is $80/month, split between us
• Security deposit is negotiable
• Rent/bills can either be split, or we can agree on an all-inclusive room-and-board price
• Groceries can be shared, cooked together, or kept completely separate — I’m flexible

About me: I work full time and also groom dogs on some weekends. I keep mostly to myself and don’t have a lot of company over. The only visitors I usually have are my two daughters and my grandkids, but most of the time we go out and do things instead of staying at the house.

I do have a house-trained 65 lb pitbull/Catahoula mix. She is very friendly, playful, and loves to play ball. She doesn’t know she’s a pitty. 😂 If you have a house-trained dog that gets along well with other dogs, that may be okay too. My dog would love a friend.

House expectations: • No drugs
• No alcohol problems
• No parties
• No drama
• Must pay bills/rent on time
• Must respect the home, the people in it, and the pets
• Smoking is outside only, or in your own room with the door closed, because smoke makes me nauseous

The main thing I require is respect. If you are clean, responsible, peaceful, and can pay your part on time, we should get along just fine.

I clean warehouses Mon thru Friday. I groom dogs on some weekends. Or I spend time with my daughter’s and the grandkids. I have 1 boy age 4 and 1 girl age 3. They are my absolute world. Nobody will be living here accept myself. Grandkids have a toy room. Rarely stay more than a few hours. With over night stays only if needed. I keep to myself, stay in my room pretty much. I’m clean neat and expect my room mate to be as well. I’m pretty flexible with how we split things just so long as you pay every month and do your part around the house. Everybody cleans, period. House is furnished but the bedroom is not. My current roommate will be taking her belongings.
