Spacious, late mid-century split-level, with fireplace, kitchen and living room on the main floor, dining area just off the kitchen. Bedrooms plus main bath upstairs a half-level. 2600 sf.

Yard is sunny / shady, quarter-acre with natural habitat that can be gardened, if you like! In the past we’ve had rhubarb, tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, onions, and various herbs.

Neighborhood is environmental-residential on Mt. Scott, up away from the fray, not far from 205. Nearby: Leach Botanical Gardens and the Springwater Corridor Trail that we walk and bike. About 2.5 miles from Mt. Scott Community Center and park, with coffee shops, cafes, gyms, taprooms, and retail shops in the Foster-Powell area. It’s about 30 minutes by bicycle to Grand Central Bakery on SE Woodstock, shops on Division & Hawthorne; around 15 minutes by car or scooter.

Co-living arrangement with use of a full kitchen, dining area, living room / common areas, dishwasher, laundry, etc. Possibly a small bit of storage in the garage (depending on items / amount).

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗨𝘀 / 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝘁
We’re musical, with respective backgrounds in engineering, tech-comm, English, and hospitality. We’re two ambiverts and one friendly introvert.

We desire someone financially responsible, aligned on cleanliness, and considerate.

We enjoy cooking and socializing casually at times, between focusing on our own lives and projects. We practice honesty in communication that is kind, respectful, clear, and direct. Non-smoking, low / no scent, environmentally conscious, self-sufficient yet cooperative, and practice good hygiene in shared spaces.

We do not believe corporations are people, we support good causes, and we try to do good things in the world. We’re animal lovers and live in cooperation with our local wildlife.

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀
Music is played and produced here, either through headphones or low amplification. To minimize competing sounds, we use and ask for headphones or earbuds when consuming content in common areas and rooms with adjoining walls.

We hope you’re musical or creative too, but it’s not a requirement. Favorite genres: prog-metal, jazz, fusion, downtempo, trip-hop, Indian classical, romantic classical, and instrumental. Musical compatibility is a strong plus.

Quiet after 10PM, with flexibility and always mutual consideration.

𝗣𝗲𝘁𝘀
No live-in animals. Visiting, well-behaved dog maybe okay with advance notice.

𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
WiFi, electric, water, garbage, and gas are split monthly between housemates, around $100 to $150 per person, depending on seasonal usage.

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
We share “chores.” The yard and house are mostly low-maintenance. Just the normal stuff, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, weed-eating, the occasional mow, etc. This works out to about an hour or two per month, per person. We compost and recycle, maintain a sanitary kitchen space, and enjoy tidy common areas.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
We let each other know when we’re planning to have someone over. No random people from apps, bars, etc., as it poses security risks. We clean up almost immediately after preparing food, etc.
