About the room
The apartment currently has furniture in shared spaces, but there is definitely room for more!
It is in the Westwinds neighborhood, walking distance from Fareway and the Java House on Mormon Trek and right on the 12: Highway 1 bus route to Downtown Iowa City. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and, when the weather permits, there are tons of places nearby for a nice walk. There is an in-unit washer/dryer, and most of the kitchen appliances have been replaced and updated within the last two years.
The rent is $518 per month + utilities, which we would split 50/50 (usually about $100 per month each). Available August 1st with some room for negotiation on move-in date.

About the roomies
Hello! My name is Bronwyn (33), and I am looking for a roommate to share my apartment with. I am a recent PhD graduate from the University of Iowa, who works at Kirkwood Community College (and maybe UI). I am friendly, social, and enjoy cooking. I work mixed hours, usually during the day. I’ve lived in this apartment for about two years and have really enjoyed the neighborhood.
This would be a great apartment for a graduate or professional student, or maybe another early career academic; but I am open to anyone interested.
