About the roomies
I’ve lived here with my current roommate since 2023, and it’s been a really great place to call home. She’s moving out to live with her fiancé, so I’m looking for someone to take over the open room. We rent this condo from a private landlord who is very responsive, and very attentive whenever anything comes up, which has made renting here a really positive experience overall.
I’m a young working professional who’s pretty laid back and introverted. I enjoy spending time outdoors — hiking, camping, working out, and exploring when I can — but I also enjoy quieter nights in reading, watching shows, listening to music, or occasionally going to concerts/raves. I’m not a huge partier and usually keep things pretty low key during the week. I’m looking for someone in a similar stage of life who values a calm, respectful, drama-free living environment. I’m definitely someone who likes keeping shared spaces clean and organized (probably a little more than average), so I appreciate roommates who are considerate about common areas and willing to split household chores and utilities fairly. Totally fine with having friends/partners over — I just think good communication and mutual respect go a long way so everyone feels comfortable in the space.
The landlord does require a standard background check for any new tenant. As far as the process goes, I’d first like to chat a bit and make sure we seem like a good fit lifestyle-wise — either over the phone or by meeting somewhere public for coffee/drinks. If it feels like a good match, I’d then invite you over to see the place in person. From there, I can pass your information along to the landlord, who would handle the background check and final approval.
