This partially furnished room can be rented for a short time or longer. It has lovely afternoon light, basic furnishings, a ceiling fan and a box fan if needed. The house has a beautiful garden, a screened porch overlooking it, and a resident granny. There’s a fairly well-equipped kitchen, and a nice dining area The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet, and the large wooded lots make the place very private and feel rural although anything you may want is nearby.

I’m a retired English language teacher. I’m quiet, tidy, and friendly. I tend to spend a lot of time in my room, reading, watching videos or working on a memoir. I like a clean house but find it hard at my age to do everything, so I have a cleaning woman come every other week. I expect my roomie to be reasonably clean and tidy too, but I’m not obsessive about anything. I’ve had several roomies since I retired and all of them have been a joy to live with. When I’m feeling good, I cook for us, and I’m a good cook.
