We have a furnished room for rent in our Gresham home.

Move in is first and last months rent. $800 includes all utilities and internet, laundry facilities, and the use of most necessary things like pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. Tools available to borrow for most fixit, build, or garden projects. This is a nice situation for someone who likes to do things but doesn’t own much stuff.

There is a large fenced yard with lots of raised garden beds, three chickens with names, (eggs and produce from the garden are seasonal but shared), and a 70lb maxi-mutt who supervises it all. She also lives inside so liking dogs is a must.

We are close to public transport. The number 20 bus is one block away (3 minute walk) and the Ruby Junction MAX stop is 4 blocks. On street parking available. Close to bike paths.

The “landlords” are my husband and myself. In our 60’s, cis-gender married couple with grandkids who visit once a year or so. Our other current housemate has been here a year and is 25 and a trans woman. We all appreciate diversity; you don’t have to be like us, just willing to get along with us.

420 friendly. In fact, all legal vices are fine as long as they are quiet and polite, but this is not a party house. Tobacco is strictly outside only but there is a covered patio. We aren’t vegetarians but you can be.

The homeowners are 2 hippy leaning folks in their 60’s. Our most recent housemate has moved out. But the population of the house is kept to 4 adults total and gender, age, and ethnic identities tend to vary from year to year.
