Location: The property itself is a 2-bed 1-bath townhouse located in North Corvallis. It’s away from the road, has private parking with our own parking spot, and the laundry room is right next door with coin-operated (quarters) machines. The community is generally quiet and nice and the landlords (Duerksen) are kind and reasonably responsive in my experience. The suburban area we’re in is very quiet too and away from a lot of OSU action. It’s about a 15-minute drive to OSU campus, a 15-minute walk to Jackson Frasier wetland, and several city bus stops are within a 5-minute walk of the property (that I use regularly!).

Layout: It’s a cute little place that’s 2 stories tall and fully carpeted except for the kitchen, bathroom, and outside area. The ground floor has the living room, kitchen, patio, and some small shared lawn space with neighbors in the back. The top floor is the two bedrooms and the bathroom.

It’s fully furnished already in common spaces with my own furniture. The bedroom you’ll be having is going to be totally empty though! It’s the bigger one between the two of ours. It has heating for the cold months but no A/C, so you’ll need a fan or portable A/C for the hot months if you want to cool down. It also faces the walkway approaching our place and has a window looking out at it. It has only one small closet too, so you’ll need a dresser or rack of some kind. But it’s quite big.

(Note: Any cats seen inside the house in photos are my roommate’s, and they’ll be gone by July 1st when she moves out.)

Costs: The rent price includes all utilities except power and wifi. Those two are around $70 per person a month on average (much cheaper in spring and fall, a little more during summer and winter). Your part of the security deposit ($800) will have to be venmoed to my current roommate once she leaves. You’ll be taking over her part of the lease for the last 2 months of it, and then re-signing with me once our lease renews in September 2026.

Hi! My name is Greyson. I’m the only other roommate you’ll have at this place. I work 9-5 hybrid (2 or 3 days from home a week, the rest in-office) in Corvallis as a GIS Senior Technician and hope to move into more of an administrative role over the next year or two.

My most marketable trait is that I will gladly clean the entire bathroom and vacuum/mop the kitchen lol. I’m also a shoes off in the house kind of person. I like keeping my living space pretty peaceful and quiet for the most part. I’m usually pretty silent once it’s close to 9 PM or so, but sometimes I like watching TV downstairs until around 10 or 11 PM. I’m always willing to turn the volume down on the TV though or be quieter if you ask!
