About the room
70 Downing Street is conveniently located right next to Clark University, with easy access to places like CVS, Big Y, Belen’s Bakery & Cafe, Belen’s Diner, Kafe Inn, and Holy Poke, along with many other nearby food spots.
The apartment comes with furnished living room and kitchen spaces (provided by yours truly), along with shared community amenities including a refrigerator, washer and dryer, oven, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, rice cooker, Philips coffee machine, 4K TV, and a crockpot.
We’re looking for roommates who value community, communication, and a comfortable shared living environment. We’d love people who are willing to help keep the apartment clean, cozy, and who are respectful of shared spaces and appliances.
We are also a shoe free house!
About the roomies
The roommate you may be most excited to meet is Bean! He is a 3-year-old hypoallergenic Havanese dog who is potty trained, well behaved, and full of personality. He loves both playing and cuddling, is extremely friendly, and loves meeting new people. Bean is also very well groomed. We bathe him weekly, and after every walk he gets fully wiped down with cleaning wipes to help keep the apartment clean and comfortable for everyone.
Our second roommate is Clay, a 20-year-old Computer Science major and Philosophy minor at Clark University. He enjoys gaming and plays competitively on Clark’s esports team. He is also a Dungeon Master and DnD player! Clay brings a calm, grounded, and kind presence to the apartment and is always willing to lend a hand.
My name is Athena, and I am a 22-year-old Philosophy major and Physics minor at Clark University. I love all kinds of art and creative projects: music, crafts, sewing, animation, and more. If you ever need help with a project, I’m always happy to help however I can. I am Mexican and Dutch, and I grew up between Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United States. You will often find me at the apartment with Bean, as I am chronically ill and sometimes have difficulty going out consistently.
Clay and I have been in a loving relationship for three years. We are affectionate, but also very respectful of shared and common spaces. We are completely open to any boundaries or preferences you may have, even if they develop over time.
Overall, we hope to create a cozy, welcoming, and comfortable environment where everyone feels at home in the shared living space.
