About the room
What’s up everyone my name is Nick and I’m looking to rent the master bedroom in this very spacious and sunny Wicker Park apartment right on Division St on the 4th floor and final floor of a walk up (no elevator). It sounds intimidating but you get used to it lol (AVAILABLE 07/31)
The room is pretty large with big windows that let in a lot of natural sunlight. It is large enough to fit a queen or king mattress, a desk, and a tv with a stand. It has a decent sized closet probably but nothing crazy. The room is in between my room and the master bedroom but there has never been an issue with noise or hearing through walls.
The apartment location is amazing with tons of bars and restaurants right outside, Milwaukee St is a very short walk away, the Division blue line is 2 blocks away, many bus routes close by, Jewel Osco and target are a short walking distance. The apartment itself is beautiful with very tall ceilings, lots of space and storage, relatively updated appliances, so much natural sunlight in the common areas and rooms, a back deck to hang out on that also gets a lot of sun in the summer, lots of spaces to wfh, in unit laundry, very good heating and AC, lots of counter space to cook with and eat on. I hope you see now why I don’t wanna leave this place yet lol. You will be living with me and one other roommate who is a female med student living in the master bedroom which has its own bathroom and shower.
About the roomies
Enough business, so a little about myself. I am 30 years old, I’ve lived here in Wicker Park and Chi for over 2 years now. I work in the office everyday and go to the gym after every night so on weekdays I don’t usually get home until 8pm or later. So if you wfh you’d have plenty of flexibility to work wherever in the place. I love to cook and usually do 3-4 nights a week. I do spend a good amount of my time when i’m at home in my room working on small projects, learning Spanish or something else I enjoy, or just hanging out but still love to occasionally go out to drink, get something to eat and chill, play tennis even though i’m not great at it, walk around the neighborhood or other ones that are cool, go swimming and hang out at the lake. I can be up at strange hours but am quiet about it and on the weekdays i’m never up too late. I keep the apt clean and spot clean somewhat frequently and a deeper one twice a month, I’m kind and respectful of people’s space and time, any issues or disagreements we have can always be solved calmly with a conversation, i’m a no drama laid back dude who really hates moving. The other roommate is currently a medical student who spends much of her time studying at school or at home.
I’m open to living with other genders and pets if you have them but the property manager will charge some kind of fee. I love cats and dogs, but if you have a dog please please please be someone who actually takes care of and walks it regularly. Well thank you for reading if you made it this far 😂. If you have any questions or wanna see the place send me a message and we can figure out a time whether its in person or over face time. I’m open to whatever works for you because I wanna get the place rented and sign the new lease before May 31 and the property manager probably does too.
