About the room

You have the option to move in this month (May) or start a new lease beginning June 1st. My current lease ends on May 31st, and the previous roommate has already vacated, so an immediate move-in would be possible if approved. Starting June 1st, half of the monthly rent on the new lease will be approximately $672.50, with utilities being an additional cost. (Roughly an additional 140$).There’s a workout room, pool, lazy river, and hot tub on the premises, including a gated parking lot for the safety of vehicles. The property also does pest control maintenance to be sure of no bugs or roaches.

You would be sharing the apartment on the 3rd floor (no elevator) with me, William.I am a 34-year-old restaurant worker, currently on the lease and planning to continue on the new lease. I’ve rented here for going on 5 years and never had any trouble from the neighbors, to maintenance, to the front office. I’ll cover your $200 security deposit, as the previous roommate moved out before the lease ended, forfeiting it. The bedroom and bathroom you would be renting have been thoroughly cleaned by the former roommate. I’m not the best at taking photos so the ones i uploaded don’t do it justice so feel free to contact me so we can plan a showing before June1st. The pictures were taken in 2021, not 2009. The date on the digital camera that was used was never updated. The only difference is that the apartments have a fresh coat of exterior paint. I occupy the other bedroom, so the kitchen, laundry room/pantry, and living room would be shared common areas (when I am present, which isn’t often since I spend all my time either at work or in my bedroom). I expect you to clean up after yourself while using the common areas, as you can expect the same from me. Your room is unfurnished, but the living room is fully furnished with a recliner, footstool, coffee table, and a nice big pull-out mattress couch, in case family/friends ever stay over. We also have a laundry room off the kitchen with a top and bottom washer/dryer, including a dishwasher and garbage disposal.

To proceed with a new lease starting June 1st, you will need to complete the application through the apartment’s official leasing office. You can find more info by googling: boardwalk apartments Tampa. Thank you for taking the time and Hope to hear from you!

About the roomies

I’m 34 and work full-time at a local restaurant, so I’m not home much. Late nights after work i like my alone time in my bedroom so i rarely have people over. I’ve been renting here for five years and recommend it, especially for the price. The cheap rent helps anyone be able to save $ quickly. The maintenance crew are on the premises 100% of the time and have always been super quick and efficient at replying to maintenance requests and fixing anything. People that know me have said I’m laid-back, out going , polite, and easy to get along with. I’ve yet to meet a stranger. I’ve had 2 roommates in those 5 years here at Boardwalk and never had an issue with them nor any roommates past or present. My last 2 roomies were both excellent on paying the rent/utilities every month on time as I’ll expect from you. Everyone here has always been nice and neighborly. Were only mins away from U.S.F , Raymond James Stadium (where the buccaneers play) and about 20 mins from downtown. All I ask for in a roommate is someone tidy enough to clean up after themselves and have a job or enough income so you’ll be able to be responsible with paying rent and utilities, just like you can expect from me.I also have a feline friend that’s been with me for 7 years. She’s spayed, well-behaved, and the best way to describe her is shy and quiet. She stays 100% in my bedroom, and when I leave, I shut my door behind me to make sure she doesn’t get out. She has access to the back porch via my bedroom where I keep her litter box which i clean out daily so there’s zero smell. Like I said, she’s very shy and quiet and never leaves my bedroom when I’m not home, so you probably won’t even see or hear her for the first month or two. If you have any more questions, or concerns please feel free to contact me on here or the rental office by googling: boardwalk apartments tampa (apartment # 423) Hope to hear from you!
