Aquila's room
About the room
The bedroom is 11’ x 13’1” with a full closet space and can fit a queen bed, a 5-foot long dresser and has a little walking space. There is a dishwasher and a laundromat on either side of the block
The apartment itself is a 10 minute walk to the C train, and is a 5 minute walk to Tompkins Ave and Lewis Ave where there are delicious restaurants to try. It is nestled on a quiet street across from a park, and parking is easy to find if you have a car. It is also about a 10-15 minute walk to Herbert Von King park which is absolutely beautiful. During the summer months, some blocks are blocked off on Tompkins where you can find local small businesses, music, great vibes and good community!
The rent is $833 heat and water included, other utilities (gas, electric, wifi) is about $50-$100
It will be a 2 month sublease and there may be potential for renewal. You would need to provide the same information one would normally put for a regular lease signing to the landlord, as well as sign a lease take over contract with the person leaving the apartment which is myself.
About the roomies
Kiera (she/her): I’m a recent graduate and am looking to start my career come May! I enjoy quiet nights during the week and going out with friends on the weekend. I love a good hard kombucha and cheeseburger. Most of the time you can find me reading a good book, staying up to date on the latest pop-culture, and listening to music.
Shibani (she/her): I am currently getting my graduate degree and will be finishing this coming May! Wooo! I love my plants, cooking, going on a nice walk, and trying new restaurants. During the week I am usually quiet as I am doing class work or working. On the weekends you can find me at a nice museum, a spontaneous adventure, or hanging with some friends
We love reality TV and love talking about our week and plans that we have with friends. We are both balanced between introverted an extroverted and love our alone time but also still love to go out and have a good time
