The walk to TAMU’s main campus is 16 minutes (0.7 miles, mostly flat), or roughly 5 minutes by bike. A short bus ride works too if the weather’s bad.Inside the house: hardwood floors throughout, central air, a fully equipped kitchen, and shared common living areas. There’s a washer and dryer in the unit and parking is included. Every bedroom in the house has its own private full bathroom, so you’re not sharing yours with anyone. Rent for the open room is $600/month on a 12-month lease running August 2026 through August 2027.

We’re five current Texas A&M students living in the house together. The group is a mix of engineering and business majors — most of us are sophomores and juniors at this point. A few of us met our freshman year and kept living together from there. The day-to-day vibe is pretty chill. We focus on school during the week and hang out more on weekends — Aggie football’s a big deal in this house, and there’s usually something going on in the living room on game days. The house stays clean. We keep up on dishes and shared spaces, and bills get split on time without anyone having to chase anyone down. We’re looking for someone who’s responsible, easy to live with, holds their own in a conversation, respects shared spaces, and pulls their weight on the monthly utilities.
