I have a 3 bedroom house in close proximity to Shaw Air Force Base and am looking to provide a full furnished private bedroom and private bathroom to rent out on the monthly basis to a member of the military that is getting stationed or has an assignment to complete at Shaw AFB.

The house is non-smoking inside and is literally on the same road that connects to Shaw AFB and is about a 10 minute commute.

The neighborhood is one of the nicer, more established medium to high income areas and has been rooted here for well over 50 years.

It is close to everywhere in Sumter, SC and of course all questions can be answered in regards to the lay of the land, great places to visit and eat.

There is a plenty of walkers, golf cart riders, and many growing families.

There is a beautiful pond that fishing is permitted at inside the neighborhood, just walking distance from the house.

I am a first time home owner and my soon to be fiancé lives with me and we have two inside cats and a 10+ year old tortoise.

I’m in my late 30’s and have deep roots and ties to Sumter, SC after being born and raised here.

I got a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and am hoping to eventually get accepted to law school here in SC. My girlfriend is almost done with clinical to become a a registered nurse as well.

We are laid back, calm, honest, people who are strictly looking for military personnel, who are responsible, able to pay the agreed upon monthly room and board fee, which includes all the utility bills, a new washer and dryer to use, common area access, tvs with cable and internet provided.

We also have a lockable storage shed and garage if need some room to store items and personal effects, while renting the bedroom.
