This quintessential Dorchester 4 bedroom/1 bath unit in a triple-decker home, a 7 min walk from the JFK/UMass redline station, has been in the hands of incredible women for years! It features 2 good-sized porches, a light-filled open-concept living and dining room, a kitchen, and a foyer. It offers plenty of built-in storage and a coin-op washer and dryer in the basement, so you don’t have to travel far for laundry. There’s limited street parking and you will need a resident sticker for most of the side streets in the area. Thankfully, it’s less than a mile from the South Bay shopping center and easily accessible by the 15, 8, and 41 buses. This is a quiet home most of the time as we all have our individual lives and schedules. At times, we catch up with one another when we are preparing meals or using the common space. Occasionally we will have dinner together, invite friends over, celebrate birthdays, and embrace spontaneous moments of community and life together. You’d be joining 3 amazing, hardworking, professional women in this wonderful home! The room will be available for a full-year lease starting September 2026 which will go until the end of August 2027. You would be responsible for the first and last month’s rent upon moving in. The current rent is $710/mo., however it may increase by $50 for a total of $760 The 4 housemates split utilities together (gas, electric, and internet) which amounts to about an additional $150-$200 a month per person depending on the winter season. We are looking for women to join our existing crew of amazing women who appreciate sharing space and life with others. A person who desires to contribute to creating a courteous, respectful, and uplifting home environment that fosters shalom and well-being. Currently, this is a pet-free home, and we’d prefer to keep it that way.
