Large bedroom with nice view, 225 square feet, not including bathroom and closet. Three large windows, one in the bathroom. Toilet, walk-in shower with adjustable shower head and fold-down bench, sink/vanity, and medicine cabinet. (Main bathroom has tub/shower if you like to soak in a bath sometimes). Room has great lighting, with ceiling fan light fixture and four recessed, dimmable lights. Closet has built-in shelves and three hanging clothes rods.

Exercise room has treadmill, exercise bike, inversion table and TV.

Third bedroom is a small, furnished guest room for overnight visitors.

The house is a 3 bed 2 bath, 2000 square feet, on a .65 acre corner lot, located in Southeast Fayetteville on a mostly quiet dead-end street of about 12 homes. Fenced back yard, with patio and propane grill. Firepit and hangout area on the east side of the house, with awesome sun and moon rises, and great sky views. Nothing but pasture, trees and cows on north and east sides.

Kitchen is large and has all the appliances (microwave, air fryer, Keurig, large refrigerator, and two small freezers, so one freezer would be for you). Plenty of pots, pans and dishes if you don’t have any, or I will clear out a few cabinets for you if you wish. Dining area and table large enough for a few dinner guests. The living room has a gas fireplace, so if the power goes out we still have some heat.

Smoking is ok, but not in the house. And you must dispose of your butts properly. I am strenuously anti-litter.

The garage is a workshop and hangout space (my friends and I call it the “Die Laughing Lounge”). Jokes, rants, repairs and communications always encouraged in this area!

Deposit and lease terms are negotiable. If you like this room but need it to be furnished, that is an option…..I can provide a nearly-new queen size bed, small computer desk, nightstand, dresser, lamps and a chair or two.

This is a great place and I love owning it and living in it…..with the current dumpster-fire economy, I just can’t afford to live here alone anymore and still be able to have any fun. Besides, I don’t really need to be taking up this much space! ; )

I am a semi-retired, 62-year-old farm-raised woman, an electronic technician with a good sense of humor, solid ethics, and high mechanical aptitude. I live with two small rescue dogs and my 17-year-old super-mellow cat (all indoor/outdoor with pet door access to backyard, no smelly litterbox!). I like to keep things clean and fairly well-organized, but I’m not super uptight about it.

I enjoy reading, gardening, camping, fishing, and outdoorsy stuff in general, music, road trips and laughter. I’m also handy around the house with various repairs and vehicle maintenance. I spend the majority of my time in my garage workshop, at my part-time job, or doing stuff outside. I reliably pay my bills, and I am looking for a housemate who will do the same.

I am open to my housemate having a pet or two, as long as our fur kids get along.

I am genuinely interested in people and the world in general, and I care deeply about all of it.
