Hi! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for September 2026-June 2027, as the lease runs from June-June and I’ll be moving in with my boyfriend at the end of September.

It’s a single room in a 3bed 1bath duplex, with a large backyard. There is parking for two cars in the driveway, as well as street parking – finding a parking spot hasn’t been an issue for me. The unit comes with a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance from the North Co-op and about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride from campus. The unit has a private landlord, Joel, who is wonderful – he’s responsive to maintenance issues and responds quickly to messages. One of the housemates, Michael, manages the internet, which is fast and reliable. Living here has been a pleasant experience for me!

Noah and Michael are both OSU students studying STEM (mechanical engineering and computer science, respectively). Michael is pretty quiet and mostly keeps to himself, while Noah is more outgoing. They’re both kind, tiny, and quiet, and neither have complaints when I host friends on the weekend so long as people aren’t too loud. There is an expectation that the house is kept clean, but no one is a neat freak – it’s fine if there are some dishes in the sink so long as everyone does their fair share!

Please note that, while the lease takeover runs from Sept-June, if you three choose to renew the lease another year after that, there is an expectation that everyone pays their share for the full year regardless of whether they’re living there for the summer.
