This is a private well-kept room rental, owner-occupied home in a quiet residential area of Tavares, Florida. The home was a new build to me, bought in 2023 and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Tavares, where there are cafes, restaurants, small bars, waterfront views, and local community events.
The area is very convenient, with nearby access to schools in the Lake County district, local government buildings, library, and a hospital just a few minutes away. It is also close to parks and lakes, making it easy to enjoy walking and outdoor activities.
The home itself is a structured, good environment with limited outside guests. It is a pet-friendly household, as I operate a small dog-sitting business, so animals are regularly present. Because of this, the environment is best suited for someone who is genuinely comfortable living around dogs.
Each tenant (2 rooms available) will have a private bedroom, with a shared bathroom, and spaces are kept organized and respectful. This is a stable home environment intended for responsible individuals looking for a simple, safe place to live close to work and daily necessities.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi access, water, electric, and optional viewing access to the two main front exterior cameras for general awareness and convenience. Exterior cameras are primarily used for monitoring and safety related to household pets, as I operate a dog-sitting business and need to ensure the dogs remain safe and secure while in outdoor areas. Tenants will also have access to the formal dinning area, all kitchen major appliances, deep freezer (located in the garage), all small kitchen appliances/gadgets, front-loading washer and dryer. Shared appliances are expected to be used respectfully and maintained in clean condition, including keeping the washer drum and dryer lint area clean after use.
