A spacious private room with its shared bathroom. The home is clean, well maintained, and sits in a quiet residential neighborhood in Shakopee right off Highway 169 making it super convenient whether you’re commuting or just running errands. Everything you need is practically around the corner. Sam’s Club, Walmart, Home Depot, and plenty of restaurants and shops are just minutes away. Eden Prairie is a short 10 to 15 minute drive which means you get that suburban peace and quiet without being far from anything. The room comes unfurnished so you can set it up exactly how you like it and make it truly yours. That said if you prefer a fully furnished setup with bed, dresser, desk and everything already in place we can accommodate that too for a slightly higher monthly rate. Just let us know what works best for you. You get your own designated shelf in the fridge and your own kitchen cabinet, access to the shared living room, and free off street parking. All utilities are covered including electric, water, internet and trash so you never have to worry about a single extra bill. Just one flat monthly rate and you are all set.

The home is owned by me, a software engineer living out of town with my wife and two kids. My two uncles live at the property full time and they are genuinely some of the nicest most easygoing people you will ever meet. Both Vietnamese, middle aged, clean, quiet, and very respectful of personal space and boundaries. They cook at home from time to time but keep the kitchen clean and tidy after every use. The house is always well kept and comfortable. There are no parties, no loud gatherings, no drama, just a calm and peaceful place to come home to after a long day. Both uncles work and have their own routine so they are not constantly around the shared spaces. You will have plenty of breathing room and privacy while still having good people nearby if you ever need anything. We are looking for someone who values a clean respectful living environment just as much as we do. You would not just be a tenant here, you would genuinely be welcomed as part of a good household. 🙏
